Like the Technology Wing, a lot of Security Main Missions come late in the progression, so it is important to focus on the upgrades that are essential for your role. So if you are more a tank, unlock the Ballistic Shield Mods, if you are more support, focus on the Smart Cover & Mods. When you have a more offensive role focus more on the Signature Skill (Armory / Barracks) to help your team-mates as they are upgrading their wings. After that focus on the Talents and Perks that you need to help you in your role, but since the Talent-Slots are unlocked at 15 / 25 / maxed out medical wing – they can be bought last. The same is for the Shooting Range, while it is a nice feature but you really need it to max out your build in endgame.

Creates a temporary cover for one person. - Perk:
Grenades - Increase the grenade inventory by 1 slot

Increases damage resistance and speed for the agent and the squad. - Perk: Combat Veteran – Increases XP gained from Accolades by 25%
- Comments: Survivor Link is essential for tank roles.

Planning all Dark Zone operations.

Ballistic Shield Mod - Reactive Targeting
Pulses/Marks The Target that is shooting you.
Ballistic Shield Mod - Assault Shield
Grants the user´s sidearm increased damage, knockback, increased accuracy and faster reload speed.

Grants a percentage of the damage as healing - Perk:
Hazardous Materials – Increase Dark Zone Inventory by 1 slot

Immunity to pulse but every enemy that attacks will be marked. - Perk: Clothes Vendor – Unlock a clothes vendor in the Base of Opertions
- Comments: Essential when you want to use the Smart Cover Skill.

The cover provides more protection and extends to cover two persons
Mobile Cover Mod - Blast Shield
The cover is fitted with remote explosives that damage hostiles in front of it when the shield is disabled.
Mobile Cover Mod - Countermeasures
While using the cover, the user deals increased damage and becomes immune to pulses. - Perk:
Explosive Bullets – Increase Explosive Bullets effort duration by 10 seconds.
Gunsmith – Collect weapon parts (crafting material) in the Security wing once per hour. - Comments: Essential when you are using the Mobile Cover Skill
Procurement Team
- Cost: 200
- Talents:
Steady Hands – Enter any cover to reduce recoil by 25% for 10 seconds.
On the Move – Kill a hostile while moving to reduce incoming damage by 30% for 10 seconds. - Perk: Scavenger – Collect items from the scavenger box in the Security Wing every 12 hours.
- Comments: This is one of the most important Expansions when you are a on the move damage dealer or tank. Because the On the Move skill gives you 30% damage reduction for each kill and this can keep you alive in combat.
Guard Posts
Guards posts and patrols around the perimeter of the base.

- Talents:
Precision – Headshot a hostile to pulse them for 10 seconds.
Chain Reaction – Damage multiple hostiles with an explosion to apply 40% more damage from the blast. - Perk:
Incendiary Bullets – Increase Incendiary Bullets effect duration by 10 seconds
Special Ammo - Collect incendiary and explosive bullets in the Supply line once per hour - Comments: Very situational Talents. Chain Reaction is a good Talent when you are using the Seeker Mine or the Sticky Bomb.
Shooting Range
Indoor shooting range for JTF and Division agents
- Cost: 200
- Talents:
Desperate Times – Reach low health to increase blind fire accuracy by 20%
Stopping Power – Suppress a hostile to increase headshot damage by 25% for 10 seconds. - Perk: Shooting Range
- Comments: This is useful to test out weapons and optimize the build, but in the end should be unlocked later in the progression.
Canine Unit
Canine support for finding and rescuing civilians, soldiers and mercy drops.
- Cost: 200
- Talents:
Repo Reaper – Kill a hostile with the sidearm to receive 30 rounds for your primary weapon.
One is None – Headshot a hostile to have a 50% chance of not consuming the bullet. - Perk: Intel Discovery – When completing all Side Missions and Encounters in a District, all undiscovered inten is revealed on the map.
- Comments: Intel Discovery is one of the Perks that help you during the progression if you want to max out your experience and find all Collectibles. One is None on the other hand is very useful in combat because it rewards you for precision shooting.
