Common Xbox One Problems and Solutions:
A hard reset of the console will solve most problems and should be performed at least monthly (although weekly is better - particularly if you are in the Preview Program) to maintain UI speed and minimize glitches!
To hard reset; Press and hold the consoles power button (the white "X") for 8-10 seconds, untill the console shuts off. Then wait 30 seconds, or until the light on the power brick turns from WHITE to AMBER, and turn it back on by pressing the power button again. There is no need to unplug the console from the wall.

Party chat issues
This is normally due to network issues involving conflicting NAT types of the party members. Check you meet the minimum requirements for LIVE here and read through this guide about network settings on xbox live. The easiest solution is often to switch who is the host of the party, however if that doest work; You can try these troubleshooting tips as well.

1. From the home screen, go to Settings > Disc and Blu Ray > Persistent Storage, and then clear Persistent Storage. Repeat this step three times.

3. Restart your console.

This can happen a lot of your controller is out of view of the Kinect when you are signing in. You can quickly fix this by doing the following:
1. On the Xbox home screen select your gamer picture next to the notifications indicator.
2. Select your gamertag
3. Select "Sign In" on your gamertag, effectively "signing in" over yourself.
Have you updated your controller firmware?
1. Plug the Stereo Headset Adapter into the controller, and also plug the headset into the adapter.
2. Connect one end of a micro-USB cable into the Xbox One controller and the other into the Xbox (The micro-USB slot is located on top of the controller and the USB slot is on the let side of the xbox).
3. The update should begin automatically. If it doesn't, go to Settings > System > Controllers & Accessories > Your controller >Controller Update.

This error is usually displayed as a result of a failed HDCP handshake between your TV and Xbox One. In other words, it's most likely an issue with the physical cable connection between the two devices. To attempt to resolve this issue, try the troubleshooting steps below;
1. Bypass any receivers or stereo equipment by connecting your device directly to your TV.
2. If you're using an HDMI cable, try reversing the ends or try a new HDMI cable, or even just unplugging and replugging them, ensuring they are plugged in properly.
3. If you're connecting via an HDMI cable, try another HDMI port on your TV.
4. If you have one available, swap from an HDMI cable to a component or composite audio/video cable.

First check your internet connection. If you are connected to the internet, then Hard reset the console by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds and waiting 30 seconds before turning it back on.
Then, go to settings and manually test the network connection. If your console still will not connect after this, the chances are its a microsoft network issue and you should check here.

Step 3 : Restore Console To Factory Default
Before restoring to factory , keep in mind you will lose all accounts, apps, games, saved games and settings. Proceed only if all previous steps did not work.
Press the Xbox button on your controller and select Settings.
Select System.
Select Restore factory defaults.
Read the warning message and select Yes.
Your Xbox One console will now begin the process of erasing all content and resetting itself to the default settings.
If all of the above fails you will need a replacement console from Microsoft.
X7133-1102 (Netflix)
The error code X7133-1102 on Xbox One is usually caused when your internet or home network issue is preventing playback. To resolve this error, try the troubleshooting steps below.
1. From the Xbox One home screen, Press the Menu button on your controller.
2. Select Settings.
3. Scroll to the right and under Other People, select Remove Accounts.
4. Highlight the account currently in use and select Choose this person.
5. Select Remove from this Xbox to confirm.
6. When finished, select Close.
7. Go back to the home screen and select Sign in.
8. Select Add New.
9. Enter in your Xbox Live Gold account credentials.
10. Try Netflix again.

- Do not hard reset. Wait patiently. Sometimes the percentage doesn't update but your game is still downloading. Relax, play something else.
- Keep waiting.
- If you've been waiting so long that you're willing to start the download from scratch, then do a hard reset.
If the hard reset did not solve the issue, navigate to the game in the download que and press the "menu" button and select "cancel download", and try again.- Check your router. Try turning the router off for 30 seconds and then back on again.
